Who Can resist a good pancake!? "Pancakes" - Original Fabric on wood art

Really I haven't been lazy at all... see my husband was out of town for work this past week and then of course London decides to teeth, get a runny nose and double ear infections all at the same time. We did lots of hammock swinging and nose wiping. He is still feeling rough but hopefully the medicine will do the job this time. I must count my blessings b/c this is only the second time in his almost 15 months of life he has had an ear infection.

I have been trying to make lots of new art. Lately I have had just the most wonderful return customers. I am just thrilled that when someone buys something they like it so much they want more!!! I am truely honored :)

I had to share this very sweet photo of Scott and London getting some fresh air and bringing me back some flowers from the yard. They really know how to make mom Smile :)

My Etsyversary!

" I will bloom for you" - Original Fabric on Wood art

It is my Etsyversary today...I have been there exactly 1 year!!!! I actually didn't list my first item until the next day March 4th, 2007 but I joined on the 3rd of March last year after finding out about Etsy while at a Trunk show I was participating in. I have had 98 sales on Etsy and a ton off of Etsy this year. I turned my art into a small business - ShellieArt LLC. I have not worked a 9-5 this entire year and then some. I am truely luck to have been home with London for his whole life so far! Etsy really has given me an avenue to sell my originals and now prints to the whole world! So far I have sold my work throughout the USA, Canada, Spain, UK, Australia, Germany, and France! My goal was to get 100 sales on Etsy in my first year so I am not too much off the mark. CHEERS to Etsy and all the possiblities it brings to all of us independent artist who are not good at marketing ourselves! - ha ha

I love you Etsy!!!- really I do

"Little Red Fox on her Way" - Original Fabric on Wood art (Sold) but I have Archival Prints

I sold the original of this one and then the print all within a day- strange but exciting!
